Even though I need complete silence to write and hear my characters’ voices, there is definitely a musical theatre theme running throughout my novel. Having four kids involved in musical theatre and a theatre lover myself, God has often spoken to me through songs. Some of the musicals where God has used to speak his love and truth to me have been Wicked, Man of La Mancha, and Memphis.
