A great way to end up this year, participating in my FIRST Hackaton with Codédex - beginner friendly, what I am currently searching. My project was a New Year's Eve Countdown - it ain't much but it's honest work. ☺️These guys made the BEST experience that I could ever had as a rookie. Cozy, holiday themed, nice people, very helpful, a great community through all in a 24h intense coding and non-stop learning experience, well organized. I am so proud that I found them and can't wait to participate to the next hackatons and update my skills and knowledge. You guys are awesome, wish you all the best from Romania! 💫 https://lnkd.in/d4aEGDe2

Congrats on winning the Best First Time Hack, Andreea!!! 🌱 "It ain't much" is a lot to us - it was such a simple but tasteful usage of snowflake + transition. ❄️https://www.codedex.io/community/monthly-challenge/submission/ofnonB3gD35O8XLFuaAy

🎉 Celebrating a milestone: 100 Leetcode problems in C++! 🎉I started on 1st September, Here's a peek into my approach:➡ Started with Easy problems, progressing to Medium as my confidence grew.➡ Dedicated 1-2 hours daily. If stuck for over 15 minutes, I'd study solutions and re-solve until clarity was achieved.➡ Kept track with a Google Sheet, briefly documenting each problem's solution in one or two sentences.➡ Followed the Neetcode Roadmap and Blind 75 to pick problems for a structured approach.➡ Before interviews, I revisited challenges to refresh concepts.➡ I tried Hackerrank & Algoexpert, but Leetcode resonated most with me.Would love to hear your Leetcode strategies and thoughts on mine!

I recently participated in a competition called CodeKaze, run by Coding Ninjas, which was based on aptitude and coding skills. I was excited to test my skills against other talented programmers, and I learned a lot along the way.In the first round, I had to solve a series of aptitude questions. The questions were challenging, but I was able to complete the round successfully. However, the second round had several medium to hard questions on DP, Graphs and Binary Search , where I fumbled a lot. Even though I didn't get through, I'm glad that I participated. Here are some of the key takeaways from my experience:1) Practice is essential.I spent a lot of time practicing aptitude and coding problems before the competition, and it paid off in the first round.2) Don't be afraid to ask for help. Leetcode discuss sections, telegram coding channels can be quite helpful.3) Don't give up.I'm grateful to Coding Ninjas for hosting this competition. It was a great opportunity to test my skills. I'm also grateful to my friends and mentors for their support.I encourage anyone who is interested in competitive programming to participate in competitions like this one. It's a great way to learn, grow, and have fun.

It's been a long time I have been off, but trust me, from now on I will be active.Today, I have brought you a step-wise solution to become proficient in coding, be it a beginner or a professional. However, remember, "CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY".Step 1: If you are a beginner, practice codes on CodeChef. They have a beautiful lessons on each and every programming languages. That's how I started.Step 2: Practice codes everyday and maintain your streaks on the following platforms:CodeChef, HackerRank, LeetCode, etc.Step 3: Push your codes into your GitHub account. Create a git and github account if you haven't made. Try pushing it everyday and start making streaks.Step 4: Join various clubs and communities:Meetup, Codecademy, Reddit, Inc., HackerRank, Slack, LinkedIn groups etc. This is how I am trying to improve my programming skills and I believe you can do it the same way.Regards,Nupur Wasad

Day 3/100 of#100daysofcodechallenge!⚡It was my brother's birthday today. I was tired and unwilling to do any more work, but here comes the whole point of taking up a challenge! I had to come to the laptop at the end of the day, use my brain, and code, all while feeling sleepy (no coffee at this hour of the day). It feels really amazing!😄⭐ I solved a few questions today. The questions on HackerRank made me think.⭐ Continued with my Programming Skills study plan onLeetCodebut instead of the decided 2 question target, I solved only 1 today. I was very close to solving the other two I was working on, but tiredness was coming in the way.⭐ Solved the Problem Of The Day (POTD) on LeetCode. This was the best part! I look forward to maintaining the streak. Here is the list of questions I solved today:* HackerRank -- https://lnkd.in/eUg4pm97 -- https://lnkd.in/e3FPvh8k* LeetCode -- https://lnkd.in/ei5QWaiw -- https://lnkd.in/eqbU_ncz#100daysofcode#100dayschallenge#problemsolving#dsa#softwareengineering

Hi connections 👋Good afternoon all !🎉 Day 9 Completed in the 30 Days of Coding Challenge on HackerRank! 🎉I'm thrilled to share that I've successfully conquered Day 9, which was all about mastering Dynamic Programming. 💪Dynamic Programming isn't just a skill; it's a coding superpower that allows us to break down complex problems into manageable chunks, leading to efficient and elegant solutions. It's incredible how this technique can transform the way we approach problem-solving.If you're on this coding journey too, keep up the fantastic work! Let's keep pushing our limits, tackling new challenges, and building a solid foundation of coding skills together. 💻🌟 🔥 #30DaysofCoding #DynamicProgramming #Hackerrank #CodingJourney

🎉 Just completed the LeetCode Weekly Contest 366 Challenge! 💻✨🎉 Attempting my first LeetCode Weekly Contest was both exciting and challenging. The contest format, with a fixed duration and a mix of problems of varying difficulty levels, added an element of time pressure and adrenaline to the experience.I was initially a bit nervous, but I embraced the opportunity to test my problem-solving skills and learn in a competitive environment. The problems presented a good balance of challenges, and I quickly realized the importance of effective time management. While I couldn't solve all the problems within the contest duration, I saw it as a valuable learning experience. I was able to tackle some of the problems and gain insights into more efficient approaches. The real-time ranking added an extra layer of motivation, even though I was a newcomer. After the contest, I took the time to review the solutions to the problems I couldn't solve during the competition. This post-contest analysis helped me understand different problem-solving techniques and algorithms better.Overall, my first LeetCode Weekly Contest was a memorable experience. It highlighted areas where I can improve, and I look forward to participating in more contests to enhance my competitive programming skills. It's a journey of growth and learning, and I'm excited to see how I progress in future contests!Leetcode Challenge 😊

I just completed another coding challenge on HackerRank! This time, I successfully solved a problem called "Easy Peasy" (well, maybe that wasn't the exact name, but it might as well have been!) 😄The challenge was quite straightforward: we had to sort characters based on their types, including lowercase letters, uppercase letters, odd numbers, and even numbers. It wasn't too difficult to come up with a solution, but it's always satisfying to see those green checkmarks appear! 🎉Question Link: https://lnkd.in/gixNe6kaI'm excited to take on the next challenge head-on! Who's ready to join me and dive in? #Hackerrank #CodingChallenge #EasyPeasy #DeveloperLife.

I successfully conquered four consecutive Vanhack coding challenge tests, and I'm genuinely proud of my achievement. Anyone who takes on the Vanhack coding challenge test will quickly realize that LeetCode becomes their friend. Reflecting on the past year, I vividly recall my frustration when I applied for a job in Nigeria offering a salary of 400k/month, only to discover a coding challenge in the test. Facing a coding challenge for a job with a monthly salary of 400k felt absurd to me. In that moment, I decided to halt the test, as I firmly believe it's an unreasonable expectation in my perspective. It's madness.VanHack#codingchallenge #softwaredevelopment #datastructuresandalgorithms
