Connecticut State Court Approves $1.4 Million For Real Estate Fraud | Connecticut Law Tribune (2024)

A Connecticut trial judge has granted a $1.4 million attachment as a prejudgment remedy for a couple who claimed they were defrauded into buying a home with preexisting water damage, rot and mold from another couple who used their daughteras the real estate agent.

Judge Yamini Menon of the Superior Court for the Judicial District of Stamford-Norwalk issued a decision May 14 finding theplaintiffs presented convincing evidence to succeed at trial on their claims of intentional and negligent misrepresentation and fraudulent concealment.
