Below, you will find our recommended leveling build and talent pickup orderfor your Arcane Mage in MoP Remix. There are various ways ofleveling in MoP Remix, and we offer some builds for the most relevant ways.

Gems are one of the unique ways to augment your character in MoP Remix, offering offensive, defensive, and utility benefits. On this page, we list the best gems for each type. To learn more about Gems in MoP Remix in general, check out our dedicated page below.

• Meta Gem: Lifestorm for Raids / Oblivion Sphere for dungeons or outdoor content
• Cogwheel Gem: Mostly personal preference, but Blink is always good, whereas Soulshape is very good for outdoor travel
• Prismatic Gems:

  You will have a tremendous amount of stats as you start unlocking all Gemslots, and there is no single best stat to stack. Getting a lot of Haste and Versatilityis a strong option, and try to avoid Critical Strike and Mastery.

• Tinker Gems:
  • Windweaver
  • Brilliance
  • Sunstrider's Flourish
  • Enkindle
  • Hailstorm
  • Incendiary Terror
  • Lightning Rod
  • Meteor Storm
  • Slay
  • Explosive Barrage
  • Brittle — Mainly for dungeons.
  • Wildfire

To keep things simple while leveling and learning the spec, use the sliderto select your level, and watch as the leveling rotation grows with eachlevel!

Level: 10

When using our slider, note that some talents may appear sooner than youexpect them to in the rotation. This is because we have two recommended buildsabove, each taking talents at slightly different times, and sometimes entirelydifferent talents.

Starting at Level 1, you only have one main attackability: Frostbolt.

1. Use Fire Blast on cooldown.
2. Use Presence of Mind when you have to move toallow you to cast Arcane Blast on the move.
3. Cast Arcane Orb when you do not have 4 ArcaneCharges.
4. Cast Evocation whenever it is ready to activate Siphon Storm. Use this shortly before activating Touch of the Magi and Arcane Surge.
5. Cast Radiant Spark whenever it is readyand you have 4 Arcane Charges.
6. If Touch of the Magi is ready and you have 4 ArcaneCharges, Cast Arcane Barrage, immediately followed by Touch of the Magi.Ensure you cast Touch of the Magi before Arcane Barrage lands.
7. Cast Arcane Surge whenever it is ready andyou have 4 Arcane Charges and the target is affected by Touch of the Magi.
8. Cast Arcane Surge whenever it is ready andyou have 4 Arcane Charges.
9. Use Arcane Missiles when you get Clearcasting.
10. Cast Evocation when you are out of mana.
11. Cast Arcane Barrage to finish off a target,or when running low on mana. Only cast it when you have 4 Arcane Charges.
12. Cast Arcane Barrage whenever you have 4 ArcaneCharges, and there are 3+ targets to hit with it. Additionally, whenever you areclose to running out of Mana, cast Arcane Barrage. Only cast it with 4 Arcane Charges.
13. Cast Arcane Explosion when there are 3 or moretargets.
14. Cast Arcane Blast as your filler on single target.
