IN THESE TIMES
We are living in prosperous times. We have more of everything. We have multiplied our possessions but reduced our values. We learn how to make a living but not a life. We are concerned about outer space but not inner space.
Yess, we have seen great advances in technology and now have faster ways to communicate information, but information without emotion becomes more logical than facts. It can be good, but many times it is cold and confusing.
It is so very important that we have something we can put our trust in today.
Will the Word of God endure forever? It has. Men have banned it and burned it, and kings have tried to destroy it. Oh yes, you can believe it.
· I believe it because my mother brainwashed me with it.
· I believe it because of the oneness of its theme.
· I believe it because prophecies have been fulfilled.
· I believe because it has survived. It is more relevant to today’s living than ever before.
These can be good reason, but I believe the Bible because I have experienced it in my life.
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of God shall stand forever ~ Isaiah 40:8
God’s Word is something we can depend on in times like these, find hope in, and give us peace even in a world of turmoil.

Here is an update from her: "I've been waiting for months to figure out if the spots in my lung is cancer or scar tissue. CT scans were inconclusive so we did a PET scan this week to get a different look at it. Good news is that we got answers. Bad news is that it's cancer. More bad news is that there is a spot in the colon that may be cancer as well.
